Flint Cottage is set within peaceful, sunny gardens overlooking fields in the quiet, rural hamlet of Highleigh.
The local area is well known as a growers paradise and produce and flowers are available readily.
There is an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants in the area also.
We are 1.5 miles from Chichester Marina and Pagham Nature Reserve. There are many local walks and the area is good for cycling too.
Chichester City and beyond to the South Downs is a wonderful area to explore and the beautiful beach at West Wittering is 4.5 miles to the South.
There is also the historic city of Chichester with many shops, tea rooms and restaurants. The wonderful Chichester Festival Theatre (www.cft.org.uk), Pallant House Art Gallery (www.pallant.org.uk) and The Novium, the new museum has also just opened.
Other places to visit are the city of Portsmouth. You can visit the historic dockyard (www.historicdockyard.co.uk) the D Day Museum or indulge in some shopping at Gunwharf Quays (www.gunwharf-quays.com).
Brighton is interesting for a day out and there is also Arundel Castle, the Wildfowl Centre, the Weald and Downland Museum or Fishbourne Roman Palace, the Southdowns National Park, Goodwood House and Goodwood Racing Circuit.
